Jurassic World is back, this time with theFallen KingdomMovie and of course other Jurassic World LEGO sets. To celebrate, let's take a look at the entire LEGO Jurassic World collection (plus a few extras) and what it's all about!
Jurassic Parkcame out in 1993, and it was an instant classic. Inspired by the book of the same name by Michael Crichton, superb direction by Steven Spielberg and an outstanding soundtrack by John Williams, it was a breakthrough in more ways than one. While it wasn't the first time dinosaurs had appeared on screen, it was definitely the first time they weretherealistic.
The original film had a huge impact on cinema and in the hearts and minds of many, and while we were a few sets in theStudiosIt wasn't an issue until its revival in 2015, with the release ofJurassic worldthat LEGO really embraced the franchise.
Since then we've had several sets with different unique dinosaur themes. This wasn't the first time LEGO ventured into the world of dinosaurs: we had themes like Dino, Dino 2010, Dino Attack and Dinosaurs. However, the LEGO Jurassic World theme brought a new dimension and plot to the theme.
Still, it was only with the 2015 film (and now with the 2018 sequel,Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), from which we get certain characters and dinosaursJuraFranchise in LEGO format. Here are the sets we have so far!
Die Jurassic Park III-Sets
Although the Jurassic World LEGO sets were the firstcorrectSets following the Jurassic Park franchise weren't the first. No, before that, in 2001, we had the Jurassic Park III sub-theme within the LEGO Studios theme. This theme brought various cinematic franchises into the LEGO format, including a Steven Spielberg Moviemaker set. It also included two Jurassic Park III sets.
These had more of a cinematic focus than an actual scenario set in the world they represented. Unlike future LEGO Jurassic World sets, they featured cameraman minifigures and generic adventurers rather than characters from the film. The dinosaurs were also built out of bricks and not the figures that were present in later sets.
1370 Raptor Rumble Studio

This set includes three minifigures, Pippin Reed, Johnny Thunder and a cameraman. It also includes a burrow meant to resemble a tree, as well as two birds of prey and a pteranodon, all built out of bricks. Johnny Thunder plays DrAlan Grant and Pippin Reed plays Amanda Kirby.
1371 Spinosaurus Attack

This little set comes complete with a camera, cameraman, stunt performer and a prop tree, plus an airplane. The Spinosaurus itself is a brick-built figure, and the entire set consists of just 128 pieces. As with other studio sets, it is intended to represent a movie set rather than an actual "real world" scene.
Die Jurassic World-Sets 2015
The original Jurassic World theme only ran in 2015. The theme featured scenes and characters from that year's Jurassic World film, a total of seven sets and a video game entry. One of the sets, LEGO 30320 Gallimimus Trap, came as a gift with video game pre-orders and another, LEGO 75920 Raptor Escape, had a limited release in some countries and was somewhat exclusive.
30320 Gallimimus-Falle

This polybag brought us a Gallimimus (actually a recoloration of the Coelophysis that appeared in two specimensDinoSets) and a small design. Released in 2015, this set comes as a free gift with the Jurassic World video game pre-order, which comes with just 29 pieces.
75915 Pteranodon Capture

The Pteranodon Capture Set is exactly what it says it is. It comes with a Pteranodon, plus two minifigures, an ACU Trooper and Simon Masrani. The trooper is carrying a gun and the set suggests he has been captured by the Pteranodon. The dinosaur itself looks great in red and gray, and the set includes a helicopter with a web shooter, presumably to catch the winged reptile in flight!
75916 Dilophosaurus Ambush

This is a larger set of 248 pieces. According to the official LEGO description, Gray is lost and being chased by a Dilophosaurus. An ACU Trooper is chasing them in his Jurassic World 4×4. This set also includes a Gyrosphere (which matches Gray).
The 4×4 has an explode function on its back half. The Trooper has a bumper. The set also includes a chicken leg, as well as other items such as a winch (which attaches to the dinosaur's leg), wrench, boxes and more. This is the first set to feature the Dilophosaurus, with a second coming in 2018.
75917 Raptor Rampage

Owen and Claire finally appear in this set! This includes a mobile vet unit and two raptors, one being Blue with his special markings and one being Charlie. Also includes Owen's motorcycle and the ACU Trooper's tranquilizer gun.
The vet unit has a stud shooter on top to fend off the raptors in pursuit. Claire has her cell phone and Owen has his gun. There are other items selected to add to the scene, but the real stars are the Raptors - Blue in particular. She will also appear in several other sets.
75918 T. Rex-Tracker

The main part of this set is the T. Rex Tracker itself, a huge vehicle with an opening cockpit, loaded with cannons (including a harpoon shooter) and a dinosaur cage (which fits a T. Rex) on the back.
This set also includes a motorbike and various accessories and equipment associated with tracking the T-Rex - which of course is also included. The minifigures are an ACU Trooper, Vic Hoskins and a veterinarian. The T-Rex also looks beautiful with some very nice prints and stands 15cm tall making it a great addition to any dinosaur collection.
75919 Indominus Rex Breakout

This finally brings the main attraction of Jurassic World:Indominus King. The largest set is the theme's release in 2015, it includes a massive build of the research tower and confiscation, plus a gyrosphere, helicopter and tons of accessories.
This includes the veterinarian, Dr. Wu, Zach, and an ACU Trooper. But the main star is the Indominus Rex, which comes in white and gray and looks gorgeous. A definitely worthwhile purchase.
75920 Bird of Prey Escape

In here we have a pen, a turret, and two raptors. While the LEGO description says they are Delta and Echo, the green raptor is actually Charlie. This set includes an off-road vehicle and two minifigures, as well as accessories such as the tranquilizer gun and shock baton.
The pen itself has several interactive options like a feeding slot, a closing gate, a trap, and more. There are plenty of scenes to play out with this set, but the highlight is of course the raptors, as these are the only dinosaurs throughout 2015 to appear in two sets - and together they cover all four raptors.
Bonus: Dr. Wu

Appearing only at a few retailers, this polybag is a promotional bundle offered with the LEGO Jurassic World video game. Released in June 2015, it only appeared at some retailers as a free gift and only includes the minifigure and a piece of amber.
Bonus: Jurassic World Gate

like dr Wu, this set is also a promotional pack that was available from Toys R Us in the US in June 2015. This was part of a 'make and take' promotion at these stores where you could build the LEGO gate and take it home. The whole set consists of only 62 pieces, comes with a sticker and is very easy to build. Since it's only one goal, it doesn't offer much playability, but it's still something nice for the fans to enjoy - especially for free.
The Sets of Jurassic World 2018: Fallen Kingdom
The Jurassic World theme returned this year! This comes along with the new upcoming Jurassic World movie,Fallen Kingdom, and as such, all sets follow characters, scenes, and dinosaurs that may appear in that film. Therefore some sets could be light spoilers!
30382 Baby Velociraptor Playpen

This is a poly bag coming out in 2018! This small set includes a baby Velociraptor (with Blues Streak), a turkey leg and a construction similar to a cage or pen similar to other LEGO Jurassic World pencils. It also includes a bone and tells a bit more about what we'll see in the Fallen Kingdom movie - that apparently "life (yet) finds a way".
75926 Pteranodon-Hunting

The second set in the LEGO Jurassic World collection, featuring the flying reptile Pteranodon, also follows the same ones as the first (75915).
This time, however, the chase takes place on the ground, with a jeep equipped with a web shooter. Also includes two minifigures, one of which appears to be Owen, and another ACU Trooper. This is one of the first sets due out this year that includes an egg - an interesting new feature in the sub-theme.
75927 Stygimoloch Eruption

This set features a Stygimoloch, a new dinosaur in the franchise. It includes this dinosaur's enclosure and watchtower, plus 2 minifigures and 2 eggs. The watchtower has two levels and a transparent piece that serves as a window overlooking the pen.
75928 Blues Helicopter Chase

As the name suggests, this set includes the popular Raptor Blue. In addition, we have a helicopter and a quad for Owen. The helicopter tows a bait basket, which they use to lure Blue in. This set includes a new character, Ken Wheatley, and weapons. The helicopter comes with a shooter.
75929 Escape from the Carnotaurus Gyrosphere

This set features the fearsome Carnotaurus, new to the LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom theme. It also includes more of course, like a gyrosphere launch station, a jeep, what looks like a motorized sentry post, and a small dinosaur - possibly a Compsognathus or a baby?
75930 Indoraptor Rampage on the Lockwood Estate

The Indoraptor is a new original creation for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Although we will not add any spoilers to this article, this is a new design and original to the film.
This set is probably the largest of any Jurassic World LEGO set, as it includes the Lockwood Estate facade (as well as some interior details), a Triceratops fossil skull, a motorbike, six minifigures, many other items, as well as blue. It should average over 1,000 pieces!
75931 Dilophosaurus Outpost Assault

This set brings back the Dilophosaurus with a beautifully colored crest. The set includes some kind of gate or fence with a watchtower and a crane moving over it. It also includes a tiny dinosaur, possibly a baby or Compsognathus.
75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor-Jagd

This beautiful set is reminiscent of the first Jurassic Park film! It features an iconic scene with a quarter building of the laboratory and four minifigures - including the children. The set also includes one of the regular Velociraptors, a ladder and various items. It's not technically part of the Jurassic World LEGO sets in the theme, but it's definitely part of the franchise and listed under the theme, so it deserves its place here.
75933 T. Rex-Transport

A new release in the 2018 LEGO Jurassic World theme, the T. Rex Transport set reflects the search and rescue theme in the new Fallen Kingdom sub-theme. In it we get a truck and a trailer, matching the T. Rex included. This set is quite large at over 600 pieces and includes three minifigures.
Die Junior-Jurassic-World-Sets
As well as reviving the theme, 2018 also brings great news: LEGO Jurassic World Juniors sets. These are all inspired by theFallen Kingdomfilm and repeat some themes fromsystemsalso sets. Still, they're a great choice for a younger crowd.
10756 Pteranodon flight

Like its 2015 equivalent (LEGO 75915), it includes a Pteranodon and a Helicopter. But in true Juniors fashion, the builds are simplified and ready for a younger audience. This set also has a structure similar to a volcanic eruption and what appears to be a tracking display.
10757 Raptor Ambulance

It's exactly as it says - this set includes a Velociraptor, a Juniors-themed truck with what looks like a holding cage on the back, plus two minifigures. One of them is Owen, who holds a large bait stick with a turkey leg on the end to lure the raptor into the truck.
10758 T. Rex Outbreak

This set features the classic gate from Jurassic World/Park. It includes the T. rex, of course, as well as a delivery truck and what also appears to be a tracking display. It also has three minifigures and includes a baby dinosaur, plus an egg and a hot dog mounted on a robotic arm - possibly bait?
Die LEGO Jurassic World DUPLO-Sets
That brings DUPLO sets too! A first for Jurassic World LEGO sets, these are suitable for toddlers, feature bright primary colors and are easy to build. They are a perfect way to introduce them to dinosaurs, and of course to entertain and educate them!
10879 Gentle giant petting zoo

The Gentle Giants Petting Zoo has an exhibit with a small Apatosaurus and a small Triceratops, plus a Duplo minifigure. The enclosure has a tree and a flower and a camera to take photos.
10880 T. Rex-Turm

This set follows the T. Rex theme but in a much nicer way. Like its System counterpart, this T. rex opens and closes its jaws. The set also includes a Duplo-sized Owen minifigure, a tower with a walkie-talkie and a car, all in Duplo style.
Die LEGO Jurassic World BrickHeadz
BrickHeadz? Why yes, indeed! 2018 brings a new LEGO BrickHeadz set and a first for the theme: the first animal BrickHeadz figure.
41614 Owen & Blau

This BrickHeadz set includes two characters: Owen, the main character from Jurassic World, played by Chris Pratt, and Blue, his favorite Velociraptor. It's the first time we have an animal BrickHeadz build.
Blue looks very cute in this build, with a standard head for the type of LEGO set, albeit with the eyes on the sides, and a special body that looks like a velociraptor from the side and front. Owen himself wears his standard attire as per the film and holds a tranquilizer gun.
So these are the Jurassic World LEGO sets we have so far, spanning multiple years (from 2001 to 2018 – albeit with big gaps) and even types of sets.
