In our post-Christian society, being a Christian and living the gospel is hard enough. It is especially difficult when these Christians are also being put in the spotlight to gain fame and fame. Whether we listen to their music or watch their television programs, we help them continue to spread the gospel message when we support their programs. This helps glorify God and gives them a platform to promote good moral programs that get laughs and clearly communicate God in all His glory.
Jesus said, "In this life you will have difficulties. Though it's difficult to act out beliefs that promote the Bible, which is considered an outdated, archaic relic, these women prove it's possible to work in Hollywood without compromising your beliefs. God honors those who live their faith despite persecution or ridicule. Here are six celebrity women who have chosen to follow Christ:

1. Candace Cameron Bure

Candace Cameron Bure starred in Full House at just 12 years old and became a household name. Playing eldest daughter DJ Tanner, Candace spent her teenage years in front of the camera. She received her first on-screen kiss from fellow actor Scott Weinger, who later became her love interest (and eventually her husband) on the Full House reboot Fuller House. Candace and her brother Kirk are open about their viewsBelieve. Candace has launched her own clothing line at QVC, allowing women to exercise modesty and still express themselves through fashion. Carrie Underwood went from obscure country singer wannabe to household name in 2005 when she won season five of the American Idol singing competition. Simon Cowell said on the show, "I predict that not only will you win this competition, but you'll also be our biggest winner of all time." She has fulfilled that prediction with ten albums and multiple Grammy wins. Although she has been successful in her career, she is open about her struggles with having children and suffering a miscarriage. She is open about her grief and doubts she will ever have children. Carrie, who now has two children and is married to Mike Fisher, proved that when we delight in the Lord, He grants our hearts' desires.

In 2015, Chonda Pierce was named the highest-grossing comedian of all time, overtaking the likes of Whoopi Goldberg and Ellen DeGeneres. Dubbed the "Queen of Clean," she has been touring the world for more than 25 years, telling jokes about being a preacher's child and other elements of life as a Christian.
But this fame comes at a high price. In her 2014 film Laughing in the Dark, Chonda is open about how her fame came at the expense of her daughter, who was out of touch with her, and her husband becoming an alcoholic while she was away. Her husband succumbed to his addiction after suffering a significant brain hemorrhage and dying outside their Tennessee cottage. She's also open about her battle with clinical depression: "My agent said, 'Your kids will be happier with a new car than if you watched them play football. And like an idiot I believed him.'” She stands by her beliefs and makes her life making people laugh; In this harsh world, we could use a few more moments of laughter.

Though she had a rough start getting roles in Hollywood, Patricia acted in small roles throughout the '80s and '90s. But it wasn't until she landed the role of Ray Romano's wife Deb Barone in the blockbuster comedy Everybody Loves Raymond that she got the recognition she deserved. Despite her 5ft 2in height, audiences loved her control over her home and husband Ray. She received her first Emmy in 2000 for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, the first for the cast. A few years later, she starred on ABC's The Middle as Frankie Heck, the irresponsible mother of the Heck family, who lives in fictional Orson, Indiana. She played this role for nine years and became the star of two back-to-back comedies. She is one of the few women to do this alongside Betty White, proving that she has undeniable talent while also keeping her conservative Catholic beliefs paramount. She also starred in the Pure Flix film Mom's Night Out, which was featured on the Book based, as well as in other Christian films.
In an interview with World Vision, Heaton speaks boldly about her relationship with Christ:

"But I also think you have to talk about why you can love in difficult circumstances. Well, because he loved us first. 5. Lacey Chabert

Lacey emerged on the acting scene as a young girl playing Erica Kane's daughter on the soap opera All My Children. Then, at age 12, to star in Fox's breakout hit Party of Five. As the innocent Claudia Salinger, Chabert lived out her teenage years on screen and navigated the tough years of puberty. She is one of the best-selling country artists of all time and has sold over 40 million albums worldwide. Although her first two albums were successful, it wasn't until her hit song This Kiss hit the pop charts on her 1998 album Breathe. This led to the huge success of the single Breathe, as well as Cry and Mississippi Girl. She married Tim McGraw, who starred in the Oscar-nominated film The Blind Side.
In an interview with CBN News,Believeand Tim said there's a ritual they perform before each performance: "Tim and I have a quick quiet moment together before we take the stage," says Hill. "Always pray."
While Christians need to be more selective about what content to watch, these women have found a winning balance between working to earn a paycheck and shining a light to an unbelieving world.
